Dinner in Waynesboro

After checking into our hotel, we ventured into historic downtown Waynesboro, Virginia, for dinner. The place I had picked out (Deasie's Kitchen) was closed so we ended up at the Green Leaf Grill a local joint with a lively crowd. Suzanne enjoyed a glass of wine, better I think for her to handle the budget accommodations I had reserved for us at the Quality Inn. (Thank you to my niece Kathleen Collins for once again allowing us to save so much at Choice Hotels with the family and friends rate!)  The dinner was quite enjoyable and tasty for all of us, but alas I had no pie, and therefore no photos of pie.  Maybe tomorrow night!
